I am presently running Enterprise Linux on a machine with a different card.
According to the cards listed here, S3 Trio64V2 is supported.
According to /proc/version, the exact name of this distro is "Red Hat 
Linux 3.2.3-20",
kernel 2.4.21-4.EL.
