There was, IIRC, a special hack to getting framebuffers to work on
S3 Trio64 family video boards... It's been so terribly long since I
had one of those, tho, that I can't remember for the *life* of me
what it was.  If you want, you can borrow my card just for running
the QtPartEd tool.
