[ale] OT: Mac OS X x86 vmware image floating on bittorrent

Not all Athlon64s support SSE3 either.  You'll have to search the net to
find out which cores do.  Also, if you have a chip which supports SSE2,
theres a patch for the OSX image to use SSE2 instead of SSE3.  I've heard,
however, that some things like iLife (iTunes) don't work nearly as well with
that patch.
