I could put it up for sale.  In fact, I might.  If I can manage to
figure out what else I'd *want* to use.  One of my friends has a spare
"router card" that has five ethernet ports on it, and I might be able to
make use of that if there's Linux support for it, but I'm not sure about
that.  What I definately don't have the ability to do is put more then
two ethernet cards in the machine due to space restrictions, and that's
a bit of a problem when you're talking about a network with 5 PCs that
regularly use it, and others that can come and go.

At most, we're talking 6 wired PCs at once.

Which means that if I'm using straight Ethernet cards, I would need to
be using a machine that can hold 7 cards.  I don't own anything as such.

What I might do is split the network up into two subnets, anyway - one
that can NetBoot (using the DHCP server that can supply the machine with
a PXE boot module and bootup from it) and another subnet where it
doesn't matter.  I'm not sure yet.
