Yea, I doubt that anyone will spend multi millions of dollars to build a
telescope on a active volcano. But I've seen dumber. Like building a
datacenter near an active fault line or building a major metro area
below sea level near hurricane tracks. 

Its the speaking / working with the Japanese that make me not want the
job. That kinda culture doesn't work for me.
