I don't know whether I would expect a corporate distro to start charging 
for updates or Debian to disappear.  I think both are unlikely.  Suse 
and Red Hat both get $$$ from purchased upgrades, thus I think they'll 
continue to exist in their current state.  I don't expect Debian to 
disappear either though.
