[ale] being cut off from list

Several times during the past few weeks I have gotten notices from the ALE
mailing list software that ale mail has been bouncing to my mindspring account
and thus my receiving of ale list mail has been discontinued. I then have to
respond to this message within three days to get it turned back on.

This is getting to be a pain in the neck and I don't have any problems with
other mailing lists I am on just the ALE one.

Right now I am currently in limbo as it is refusing my attempts to get it
turned back on because it says I am beyond the three day time limit. I tried
to subscribe to the list agin but it refuses to do that either as it says
I am already subscribed.

ARGH!
