Palm OS sync's smoothly with Evolution. Sadly, the Linux-based Zaurus
requires mucho tweaking before sync-nirvana is achieved. Blackberries
are $$ (but way cool!). Sony is getting out of the PDA business to avoid
those unless you can pick up a good deal. As they are PalmOS based, they
will also sync well with Evolution.
