[ale] Fedora Core2 in VMWare Workstation4 (good excuse to test the list)

I actually had Core 2 running in VMWare 3.5, but I have not played with 
Core 2 much since updating to to VMWare 4. In most cases installing the 
VMWare tools in to VM OS fixes problems like that.
