A friend dropped his Dell laptop and now it won't boot up. It sounds like the HD is starting, but nothing on the screen. The hard drive has several corrupted files, but I believe it can be reformatted and the OS re-installed. It is not under any warranty. Does anyone have any recommendations on local laptop repairs ??
