[ale] Enterprise Authentication

I'd also like to get the communities input on this. One of my clients
is VERY interested in moving away from M$ (they're still NT4, and have
to upgrade, but they have to keep 1 2k server in house because of a
proprietary app that they use). They don't have the $$ to upgrade
everything to a 2k or 2k3 environment, but have to keep the one box, so
no chance of going 100% *nix. Since the clients will all stay Win32,
I'm looking at SAMBA for the file / print sharing, but I'm still looking
into options for auth and single sign on.
