Not posting html email addresses in the archives == lock car doors
Not posting email addresses in text == conceal valuables in the car
Not posting email-like text that humans can recognize == set car alarm
Not allowing email to be trasferred without validating IP == using lowjack

It *seems* as though your solution is overkill. Especially because we drive a 
1976 Ford LTD station wagon. :)

As far as I can tell, we are not being overrun with spoofed emails just yet. 
However, I think many of use would agree that we should "lock our doors," 
"conceal the valuables" and *maybe* "set the alarm" which is easy to 
implement.
Apparently, we already have a mirror that offers this functionality.
