The Complete FreeBSD, by Greg Lehey, 4th ed now published by O'Reilly
I even like it for general Unix/Linux things.

The FreeBSD Handbook, published both online and dead-tree.
This is more FreeBSD-specific than the above.  It's also
updated (well, the online version) constantly.  The online
version is a "working document" & freely downloadable from
the FreeBSD project mirrors.

There are some others (more on request I guess... :) but
the above two (3?) are my (& others') 1st recommendations.
