[ale] morning RAID problems.

Howdy all!

I thought I had setup my RAID1 in software like I had read from this list
and also from the LDP.

Now, when I reboot, it has the following error:

Searching for Module Dependencies:
Starting up RAID devices: /dev/md1: Invalid Argument
/dev/md1 is not a RAID0 or LINEAR array
md1

*** An error occured during the RAID startup.

It then asks me to enter the root password for maintenance mode or press
Ctrl-D for normal startup. Pressing Ctrl-D reboots me.

Here's what I've done so far:

I had in /etc/fstab
LABEL=/var/logs		/var/logs		ext3 .....
I had commented out that line before reboot and added:
/dev/md1	/var/logs	ext2 ....

I have since rem'd the /dev/md1 line and made the LABEL= line active again.

I also have a /etc/raidtab file setup that says /dev/md1 is a raid level 1
with 2 disks and /dev/hde is disk 0, /dev/hdf is disk1. I even was able to
synch the drives last week (before I rebooted).

Do I need to remove this file? I also used mdadm to create/configure/etc
the RAID array.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks,
