[ale] SCP problem

Good suggestion.. I've also seen while using scp/pscp in windows that when using wildcards for file specifiers you can have mixed results.  You might try one specific file just for testing purposes.

At this point, I'd try looking at the settings for sshd on the Linux box
(/etc/ssh/sshd_config, I believe).  E.g. is the sftp subsystem defined,
and does the sftp-server executable it points to exist (I think some scp
implementations may actually use the sftp subsystem, if it is defined).
~ Check for other things like what protocols are allowed (if the server
will only allow protocol 2, and your clients expect protocol 1, it might
give a problem).
