[ale] Nokia 21 Inch Monitor Not Working: Any Takers?

All,

Some time ago, when the company I was working for dissolved their
Atlanta office, they sold us the monitors we were using for $100 or so.
I grabbed two, because someone else didn't want it (hi, Bob!).

Well, the other day, I pulled it off the shelf because my wife's
computer monitor was on the fritz (I thought; turned out to be the video
card). The Nokia never fired up. The power LED illuminates, but I
don't hear the usual high voltage whine, so either that section is no
longer working or my high frequency hearing is gone :-(.

Is anyone interested in taking it to playing around with? The
alternative for me is to discard it.

I might be able to lug it to either the Central or NE ALE meetings, but
not the upcoming Central, due to a sinus infection that I'm currently
battling.

I live in the northern Lilburn area if you'd care to just drop by.
Greater detail upon request.
