[ale] Burning Music CDs on Fedora Core 2

I have always done my CD burning as root. And, by the way, I can burn a
"data" CD just fine. 

Based on what I'm seeing with FIFO under-runs, loss of streaming and
processes getting hung up in wait state, it would suggest some recent
changes in the SCSI driver.
