Let's see, quick comment: "Like Red Hat Linux 9, only faster" ;-)

Seriously, not too much different from RHL 9 other than the usual updates of 
software versions included. The boot process now can be graphical (kinda 
like newish SuSE, but without the ugly kernel hacks and therefore instead
implemented by actually starting X during boot). Yum's now included, and 
up2date can also access yum / apt-capable archives. Other than that, the 
biggest change is that the tool chain incorporates exec_shield (RH's 
anti-stack-smashing stuff)

Of course, the really big difference is the opening up of the development 
somewhat.
