[ale] USB is killing me

Hi Chris,

Yes.  I'm using a built in Synoptics touch pad on a Toshiba laptop.  The
pad works on /dev/psaux with stock kernels.  However, it works much
better as a USB device (/dev/input/mice).

I've put my .config file at
