[ale] Knoppix Shut Down

I've read about Germany attempting a DMCA type legislation.  Haven't 
read about Europe in general.  Seems like the countries with the loosest 
laws regarding copyright law could have more web based repositories 
springing up.  I read, possibly here on the list, that Linus Torvalds is 
allowing code in the 2.6 kernel for digital rights management 
implementations.
