I don't think it's a flash thing.  Flash works fine otherwise.  It seems
to be some javascript error.  When I opened the page in Firebird and
look at the javascript console it reports something is undefined.  When
I go to the "Discussion boards" and try to read them I can see the
instructor's initial posting but when I hit the next button it never
updates and won't walk down the tree.  

I'll definitely look up the faqs below, thanks.
