[ale] beeping sendmail.cf [it was Muttrc! SOLVED]

You guys(et al) aren't going to believe this: it was my .muttrc.  The
default for muttrc now seems to be "set beep=yes", so Mutt beeps on
any error, such as a rejected mail from the "check_mail" function.
The beep goes away whenever mutt is not running or set beep=no is
set.  Heh.  Geez.
