Try looking at http://dri.sourceforge.net for drivers and so forth for ATI 
cards. If you figure out the correct incantation to install the new 
software, I'd appreciate knowing. It looks simple, but gets wedged on a 
RH9 installation. 8-(.

I dunno. When I looked there was a ppc distribution for SuSe, and I think 
Debian, but the status of such I cann't say.
