[ale] Debian install on IBM R40 :(

I am getting closer with this....

Once the boot process stoppes with e2fsck failure I can get into
maintenance mode.
Looks like lilo thinks that root is /dev/hda3
But /dev/hda3 is pointing god knows where ... 
I was able to run e2fsck and mount 
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part3
Which is the correct partition.
And I left 3gigs at the end in tact.... 
Ibm utilities see the predesktop area just fine 

The question in how to make lilo go to this instead of /dev/hda3
Should have paid more attention to that warning ...grin
