Nor do I.  I certainly support Red Hat generating revenue.  And, as you
note, it'll still be free on/after the 7th.

What caught me off-guard is that they decided to leap from from 8.0 to
9.0.  That hasn't happened since I started using RH back at 5.2.

Wonder if the changes were significant enough to warrant a major?  All
indications I'd seen before today indicated the release as 8.1.
