You might want to check out http://www.flat-panel.com/  The site is a 
bit kludgey, but they have almost _any_ LCD you could need.  If you open 
your laptop, and find out what "brand/make" of LCD you have (it should 
be a big sticker on the back of the LCD), you should be able to order a 
replacement and "plug-it-in-and-play".  LCDs use a common interface to 
the video controller.
