[ale] Speakeasy DSL (Anyone here have it?)

Speakeasy is wonderful. Yes, static ips....really! I've had mine for
over a year. You can have serverl if you ask and pay a small fee...I
think up to 8 ips without getting into much hassle. I have 3 and I
think I pay $2 a month for the extras. If you have an interest in
hosting a few domains from home, they will act as your secondary DNS
provider if you run the primary DNS server from home. They will act as
a secondary mail server for a domain, storing up to 10 megs of mail
during periods where your primary mail server is unavailable. They have
an amazing infrastrucure. Low pings everwhere, great for gaming. They
have had only one outage in the year I've had the service. Their tech
support is wonderful. I've never waited more than a couple minutes to
get a live person on the phone...and that person always has been polite
and knowledgeable. They are constantly doing little things to enhance
the service, like offering free online music services, high speed mirror
access for files....the list is long.

take a look at:

Cool huh?

They don't balk at linux or bsd or whatever.

They also offer referrals for present customers who recommend them, so
tell them trobis sent you if you decide to go with them....hehe. And
that really didn't color my review. I've recommended 3 friends and they
have all been happy with the service.

You get what you pay for.
