[ale] nVidia woes revisited

Yes, I agree that you must have a Virtual desktop setting that is larger 
than the accepted mode.  Say your monitor and card will only do 1024x768 
but your Virtual desktop is 1280x1024.  Then you would get the effect 
you are describing.
