[ale] Bellsouth DSL?

Not really true!  Bellsouth is underhanded in their DSL sales practices, 
but Earthlink just waits for enough users in that area to reserve a 
block of DSL service.  Bellsouth has no memory of who requested DSL, but 
Earthlink does keep a database of requests.  I would call Speakeasy or 
Speedfactory before just going with Bellsouth.  Once your in with 
Bellsouth then the trouble of dealing with any problems is greatly 
magnified.  And that is an understatement...

Unless you keep a running copy of that OS we all hate lying around.

And, are willing to install it so the scripted troubleshooting will work.

And also, are willing to reinstall that OS upon their demand to prove 
they have the problem...
