apt-cache is your friend here.  Also aptitude is a pretty good
curses front end.  But apt-cache handles regexes pretty well,
iirc.  At least I never have had too much trouble finding what I
was looking for.  (Except if it only existed in some obscure deb
repository that wasn't in my sources.list.)
