I say this at the risk of looking like a vulture waiting for the carcasses
of American business to start rotting, but nevertheless...

Now is a good time to start re-tooling your brain for security work too.
Based on some of the things I've seen lately coming from off-shore (I will
not get into specifics to avoid starting a flamewar, but if you read the
article you'll get my drift), the security industry is really going to
explode over the next few years...particularly the vulnerability research
segment.
