[ale] Internet via modem

Sometimes you have to edit the chat script a bit but under the newer
distros even that may not be necessary. What am I forgetting? First
check to see that the modem is configured properly. Then use wvdial to
connect. It trys to understand what the ISP wants so as to start PPP.
Under SuSE you can have a wvdial.dod process, Dial on Demand, started
as a init script on boot. It will connect and disconnect as demand
requires and configure the SuSE firewall too. Very nice for a demarc
firewall of a SOHO.
