[ale] *initial* password for FastAccess?

Seems as if I'm going to have to rephrase the question ...

When FIRST setting up BellSouth FastAccess DSL, what value gets used for
the INITIAL password that gets sent as part of the PPPoE connection?  Is
it part of my home phone number, or randomly generated based on my username,
or what?

I'm hoping I can establish the initial connection with the Roaring Penguin
PPPoE client from Linux.

Feel free to post off-list so script kiddies won't get access to the info
(like they don't already). ;-)
