Just to clarify one thing. Steve Gibson is a charlatan, not a guru.

Speaking as someone who is the victim of frequent mail bombings and the
like, you'd better really be "into" security before you stick your neck
out. You had better be willing to waste alot of time on your newfound
hobby or else you'll regret it. Most of these incidents are minor and more
or less just annoying, but every once in a while, someone gets clever and
does something neat like...oh...hard coding your email addy in the code of
a worm so that every bogus message it generates in an attempt to spread
itself appears to come from you. Then you have thousands of clueless
victims swamping your inbox with accusations and threats of legal action.
Think it through very carefully before you volunteer for a "war game".
