[ale] dual-headed X11 via a laptop?

Your GF 4 chipset from Nvidia is supported by the Nvidia driver.  It 
will do amazing dual head configuration for you.  All you have to do is 
configure the driver to display to both the LCD and the external VGA 
port.  You will have an accelerated OpenGL enabled single desktop 
stretched across both displays.  This is not Xinerama even though that 
can be used when hardware acceleration isn't desired.  Get the pdf on 
the nvidia driver from www.nvidia.com downloads and read up on the 
configuration of the driver.  I've posted my XF86Config file on the list 
so you should be able get it thru Google.  (I don't have it available at 
the moment)
