That really depends. On newer Suns, it won't matter how slow you burn it, it
still probably won't boot, at least in my experience. For example, on the
Sun Blades, I've never gotten it to boot off of a home burn, even using 1x,
unless I swapped the drive for a non-Sun one. On Ultra 10s / 30s, it seems
to require older OBP, so you can choose between DHCP support for boot net or
home-burned CD-ROM support.... My Netras don't have CD-ROMs, so I've never
tried on them.

On older Sparc-era equipment, the slow burn trick seems to work well.
