Yes, O'charley's has decent food as well, I'd forgotten about that. 
There's also a Mexican restruarant in that same vicity.  The food is 
decent, but the bloody place is always dark, that is, you need a 
flashlight to read the menu.

The best way to get to Barrett Pkwy from the school is to take Fry road 
straight across Chastain.  That'll get you to Barrett without dealing 
with Chastain.  Coming back shouldn't be that bad, since you come back 
the same way and take the left turn at Chastain to get to the school.

If you're headed towards the mall, your best bet is to go north on Fry 
and take a right at the light (don't know the name of the street).  It's 
the first light after you go under the i75 bridge.  Follow that all the 
way to the mall area.
