[ale] Reviving the ALS

I went one year when it was at the Cobb Galleria. Well, I went to the Vendor
Exhibits. It was rather cool. I would love to see it come about again,
especially with the advances and everything that has been made.

If I remember correctly, there were sessions on GCC, Perl and more. Vendors
such as Debian, Slackware, IBM... you name it. It wouldn't take much, to get
it resurected, are they bothering to do an annual linux showcase this year?

I was out of state for the entire lifespan of ALS. Now that I may be moving
away again...the talk of resurrecting it begins!!! I can't win. At least
this time I'll be close enough to make it a day trip.
