It still doesn't encourage me send any money to SCO for anything.

Ever.

In fact, I was recently asked if I would do some support work on a SCO
system. I referred the requester to the recent news articles on SCO with
the offer to replace SCO with a Linux system and migrate their program
over to Linux.

RedHat is now their choice.
