I 
lived in Florida for half of my life.  Great place to live but employers 
will tend to low ball you on pay as they say that there is no income tax 
there.  Problem is that property taxes are twice what they are here and 
gasoline is at least 20 cents more a gallon there also.  DO NOT let them 
low ball you on pay if you go for this!!!  Just FYI for all 
interested.

  There are three different levels of software engineers that we are 
  looking for.  All positions are contract to perm. located in Tampa Bay, 
  Florida.(1)Software Engineer IKey Responsibilities-- 
  Limited us and/or application of basic principles, theories, and 
  concepts.- Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited 
  scope.- Work closely supervised.  Follows specific, detailed 
  instructions.- Contributes to the completion of routine technical 
  tasks.  Failure toachieve results can normally be overcome without 
  serious affect on schedulesand programs.- Contacts are primarily with 
  immediate supervisor, project leaders andother personnel in the section or 
  group.Essential Knowledge and Skills- Minimum BSEE or 
  equivalent with 0-3 years experience- Background in C/C++ on a PC platform 
  under Linux preferred- Should have experience with real time 
  applications- Knowledge of UNIX helpful(2)Software Engineer 
  IIKey Responsibilities-- Frequent use and application of 
  technical standards, principles, theories,concepts and techniques.- 
  Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scopeand 
  complexity.- Works under general supervision.  Follows established 
  procedures.  Work isreviewed for soundness of technical judgment and 
  adequacy.- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with 
  specificprojects.  Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions 
  orrecommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in 
  theallocation of additional resources.- Primarily internal company 
  contacts.  Infrequent inter-organizational andoutside customer 
  contacts on routine mattersEssential Knowledge and Skills- 
  Minimum BSEE or equivalent with 3-5 years experience- Background in C/C++ 
  on a PC platform under Linux preferred- Should have experience with real 
  time applications- Knowledge of UNIX helpful(3)Software Engineer 
  IIIKey Responsibilities- Complete understanding and wide 
  application of technical theories, andconcepts in the field.  General 
  knowledge of other related disciplines.- Provides technical solutions to a 
  wide range of difficult problems.Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and 
  practicable, and consistent withorganization objectives.- Works under 
  only general direction.  Independently determines and 
  developsapproach to solutions.  Work is reviewed upon completion for 
  adequacy inmeeting objectives.- Frequent inter-organizational and 
  outside customer contacts.  Representsthe organization in providing 
  solutions to difficult technical issuesassociated with specific 
  projects.Essential Knowledge and Skills- Minimum BSEE or 
  equivalent with 5-7 years experience- Required background in C/C++ on a PC 
  platform under Linux preferred- Should have experience with real time 
  applications- Knowledge of UNIX a must(4) Test Engineer Level II 
  requirements - they will be  doing softwaretesting and Software 
  Configuration control.  They will need S/W managementtools like CVS,
