[ale] CDRW on Linux

mkisofs and cdrecord are the command line tools for this effort.  That's 
what I use.  There are gui tools like cdroast, although I've never used 
them.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
