in administering FreeBSD/LINUX servers in a web hosting environment. This
individual should have experience on administering with recent releases of
the web hosting services such as Apache, Sendmail, Qpopper, ProFTP, etc. The

System Administrator / Developer

AIS Media, Inc. is an Internet services and consulting firm. We are seeking
a highly competent systems admin with a solid, proven track record in
administering FreeBSD/Linux servers.

A minimum of 2 years experience working within a commercial web hosting
enviroment is a must.

SPECIFICS ABOUT THE JOB:

- Seting up a devbox on a FreeBSD platform with all the web hosting
applications that is required as well additional software which may be
necessary.
- Document the procedures and command line operations needed in the control
panel project.
- Migrate current hosting accounts over to the new control panel.

Required Skills:

* 1-2 yrs. solid Linux/ FreeBSD admin experience in Perl, bash/sh, TCL/TK
* Familiar with configuration & maintenance of Sendmail, Apache, ProFTP,
FrontPage Ext., PHP and it's extensions (GD library, IMAP, CURL, PDF,
Mcrypt, Zend Optimizer, and FTP), MySQL configuration, Qpopper, Webalizer,
Apache SSL, & bandwidth throttling
* Basic security procedures
* Able to setting user quotas
* Network administration, TCP/IP
* DNS, SMTP, POP3, HTTP
* Mailing list admin. (Mailman)
* Experience with other CPs

Desired Skills:
Fluent in PHP, Perl, bash/sh

Non-Tech Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional conduct,
excellent work ethic, positive mental attitude.
