I believe it's 3.0, on RedHat 7.3.  It's my daughter's computer, so I'm 
not quite sure of the version, I'll look later, and correct if necessary.

It is kdm, and I did deselect the save session.  The first time it did 
not start.  The next reboot had Konquerer coming up again though.

I'll take another stab at it and see if maybe I missed something.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
