They do use GPL.  They take copyrighted stuff just the same.
I read an article recently about M$ loosing a suit in France
last year.  Wish I had the link to post.

you know i was thinking the same thing today.
i'd be happy with more mainstream press coverage of the
MS/BSA  "audits".
no one beleaves me that this stuff is going on.
