[ale] A call to Audit M$...

Can you picture it?

3 or 4 of the bigger Open Source Projects, that have some backing from large
vendors and can afford to have some high-powered attorneys do the paperwork,
institute a lawsuit to audit M$, to make sure that they are not stealing any
GPL software and incorporating it into their code.

Of course it would help immensely if it was known ahead of time that they had
appropriated some GPL code, and it could be proven...

I mean, fair is fair, right?  If they are gonna demand that everyone else
honor *their* license agreements, at gunpoint, then why shouldn't the Open
Source Community pay them back in kind?

Can anyone say 'deep pockets'?

Just thinking out loud...
