[ale] OT: High-quality pc speakers

I have the Altec Lansing as well.  Subwoofer and 4 satellites.  Got at
Microseconds for about 60 bucks.  My husband has Cambridge Soundworks 5.1
and it sounds phenomenal, but costs about $250 on the net ..pj

Tyler,

I use Altec Lansing also; my set has a center floor woofer,
controls on right spkr. About four yrs old, a gift... I think
I saw those at about $100 retail? Still sounds great.
