[ale] vmware and W2K v. WXP

What version of vmware?  http://www.vmware.com/ says 3.1 supports XP.

Is it the app that won't run on XP on vmware or XP that won't run on vmware?

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
