[ale] running apps in the root window

I've seen a couple of folks make a similar request.  The only way I 
could see you could do this would be to start an *term that is the size 
of your desktop, turn on transparency or set a background image for the 
*term and set the stacking for below.

Now I use enlightenment for my wm and it has this stacking option, I 
don't know if all wm support this.  When you set it to below, that 
window will always stay under all other windows.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
