[ale] [OT] info on x10 browser popups

Is this the iptables rule that would do this?

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -s 63.211.210.22 -j DROP

This assumes that x10.com is always going to be at 63.211.210.22, which I'm
not sure is a valid assumption or not.

Yeah, But as I have read some place. Now you have
registered yourself. And they can just pass you off to
someone else.

Why not just make a rule in ipchains or iptables that blocks
that address.

So, the first link says to the sencond link:
http://www.x10.com/home/optout.cgi?DAY=30&PAGE=http://www.x1
0.com/x10ads1.htm

Which sets a cookie which expires Mon 29 Apr 2002.

Why can't I just paste that into my browser, and change
DAY=30 to DAY=32767?

Low and behold, I get a cookie that expires Tue 19 Jan 2038.
