[ale] OT: How fast is your connection, and how much do you pay?

Currently as of two weeks ago:
$65/month Earthlink/Mindspring DSL with static IP

Do a reverse lookup on me and you get:
Aslan 76% nslookup 66.149.142.3
Server:  Black-Beard.Kennesaw.EDU
Address:  130.218.100.5

Name:    user-119b3g3.biz.mindspring.com
Address:  66.149.142.3

This shows that switching from dynamic to static switches you in their
DNS to the biz network from the dsl network.  I used to have something
like:

user-1120gir.dsl.mindspring.com

Mindspring/Earthlink has been real solid for me.  Very little downtime
in the past couple of years.  My download is about +6Mb/min sustained. 
I am about 6000 feet from the DSLAM.  I downloaded a SGI IRIX overlay,
IRIX 6.5.15, which is a ~980Mb .tgz file, onto my laptop in
approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.  Don't have the specifics right here.
